  • Twitter Post: Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats

    The Guild Theatre held a special charity event with Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and Nathaniel’s charity, The Marigold Project. They wanted to decided to utilize Twitter to advertise.

  • Instagram Post: Social Distortion

    Booking Social Distortion was a big win for the Guild Theatre in it’s first few months, and I knew we had to respond with a big post. I worked with their team to provide the graphic you see below, and promoted this content on all social platforms, though we allocated the majority of our spend on Instagram.

  • Facebook Post: Matt Nathanson

    Matt Nathanson decided to pair his new single with his Summer 2022 tour, and I promoted both his latest single and the show itself on Facebook to raise awareness of the event.

To enhance marketing strategy for artists playing at The Guild Theatre, I created compelling video trailers and reels specifically tailored for TikTok and YouTube. This approach effectively engaged a younger audience, amplifying awareness and interest in the artists included below.

Instagram Posts: War and Treaty

Before The War and Treaty gained a significant following after their feature on Zach Bryan's 2023 album, they had a scheduled performance at The Guild Theatre. They needed to increase their visibility, and to enhance their reach, I produced promotional videos highlighting their live performances and latest single releases. Additionally, I reached out to band members Tonya and Michael Trotter, who enthusiastically shared their excitement about the upcoming show. As a result of these efforts, tickets sold out within just a few days.

TikTok Post: Aaron Lee Tasjan

I made a push to promote content on TikTok, beginning with a quick reel for one of my favorite independent artists, Aaron Lee Tasjan.

YouTube Post: Berlin

While Berlin was on tour, they wanted to guarantee sold out shows. Coincidentally, the film, Top Gun: Maverick, premiered around the same time, and featured Berlin’s biggest hit, "Take my Breath Away”. Not wasting a second, I created and promoted a reel that showcased Berlin’s biggest hits, leading with "Take my Breath Away”.

  • Facebook Ad 1: Saving Money on Food

    The first ad I ran was in July 2018 for Chegg, who wanted me to improve traffic from young users. Since research indicted that students are more likely to click on headlines that feature the words “saving money”, I attached a CheggPlay article on the best restaurants to save at. I also wrote the copy for the ad and chose the accompanying artwork.

  • Facebook Ad 2: Pre-Party Playlist

    Since Chegg wanted to increase engagement within their younger user base, I decided to curate several Spotify Playlists and organically market them on Facebook by writing the ad copy and designing the actual creative asset (i.e. the Pre-Party disco logo).

    Similarly, the third ad I ran was also organic, with the goal of attracting new users to Chegg. I performed the same process, curating the songs for the playlist, writing the ad copy, designing the image, conducting the campaign, and analyzing the results
